St. Mary of the Crown Parish volunteers minister to the inmates at the Garfield County Jail in Glenwood Springs. Lou Gabriel at St Stephen’s parish, coordinates the Catholic Jail & Prison Ministry for this area, providing spiritual support to inmates. The ministry seeks additional volunteers who are 21 years of age, a practicing Catholic, and able to pass a background check. We alternate visits to the jail every Saturday from 8:00am to 11:00am.
