Enhance the Liturgy

The Liturgy is central to our Catholic life.  Enhance your life and our community by sharing your talents during the Liturgy.      Call the Parish office at (303) 455-3613 to learn more about opportunities to get involved.

Assist During Mass

Altar Assistants and Servers assist the priest during each mass.

Serve on the Altar (Youth)

Boys and girls who have made their First Communion who assist the priest during mass. Attendance in a training session is required prior to serving.

Help Prepare for Mass

Mass sacristans are responsible for the preparation and care of the materials used in the liturgy (water, wine, communion vessels) and clean up after each mass.

Proclaim the Word at Mass

Lectors serve the community by proclaiming the Word of God through scripture readings at all masses. Training is required to participate in this ministry. Please contact the office for more information.

Welcome Attendees to Mass (Usher/Greeters)

The ushers are responsible for making welcome and meeting the needs of our people at all masses. They assist the congregation with seating, offertory, taking up the gifts, directions during communion and distributing bulletins and handouts at the end of services. If you see that you can help during a mass, we welcome your involvement.

Join the Choir

Sing at one or more mass. Become a cantor. New members are welcome; please contact Gerard DiMartini for more information.

Help Coordinate Mass

Mass Coordinators assist the Director of Liturgy as needed and help maintain a calm and prayerful setting before all masses. They assure that all ministries are staffed for each mass.

Care for the Church

Sacristans provide care for our sacred spaces. They come in during the week to care for the plants, replenish Holy Water, provide general cleaning and care for the altars and sacristies, and maintain altar and votive candles.

Become an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion

These ministers assist the priest at mass with the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ. Each has been trained and commissioned to carry out this sacred duty. They also bring Holy Communion to the sick and home-bound.

Plan the Liturgy

Members of the Liturgy committee plan the liturgy.
