The ushers are responsible for hospitality and meeting the needs of people at all weekend masses. Assist the congregation with seating, offertory, taking up the gifts, directing the congregation during communion, and distributing parish bulletins at the end of mass. If you see that you can help during a Mass, we welcome your involvement.
Serve the community by proclaiming the Word of God through scripture readings at all masses.
Assist the priest at Mass with the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ. These ministers have been trained and commissioned to carry out this sacred duty. They also bring Holy Communion to the sick and home-bound.
Boys and girls who have made their First Communion and assists the priest during Mass. Attendance in a training session is necessary prior to serving.
Mass sacristans are responsible for the preparation and care of the materials used in the liturgy (water, wine, communion vessels, etc) and cleans up after Mass.
Sacristans comes in during the week to care for the plants, replenish the Holy Water, general cleaning and care for the altars, the altar and votive candles, and the sacristies.
Mass Coordinators maintain calm before all Masses. They assure that all ministries are staffed for Mass.
Altar Assistants and Servers assist the priest during Mass
Music Ministers lead the assembly in musical prayer as cantors, song leaders or choir members.
The parish needs an individual to maintain the sound mix at all Masses. A background in sound is helpful. The parish will also provide training.
